"AB" (Automatic buy" in adopts) (Art By

"ACEO" (Art card originals and editions)- these are cards of artwork measuring 2.5 x 3.5 inches, the same as a standard playing card. They feature original artwork that are a class of collectibles.  Like this one: theiceorchid.deviantart.com/ar… or sofierimmer.deviantart.com/art…

"AT" (art trade)

"ATC" (Art Trading Cards)- these are similar to ACEOs. They are small piece of original artwork that are meant to be traded. 

"CTG" (Card trading game)- these are Cards featuring artwork that are meant to be played and traded. Examples include "Magic: The Gathering", "Pokemon" and "Yu-Gi-Oh". 

"CM or C" (commissions)

"CS" (Closed Species) in adoptable

"CV" (Community Volunteer)

"DA or dA" (DeviantArt)

"DD" (Daily Deviation)

"tl;dr" (Too Long; Didn't Read)

"DTA" (Draw this again / "Draw to adopt")

"DTR" (Draw to Raffle)

"DTE" (Draw to Enter)  you must draw to enter a "contest" to see who gets the right to adopt

"FAQ" (Frequently Asked Questions)

"F2U" (Free to Use)

"LB"  (Literature By)

"MI"  (Minimum Increment) in Adopts

"MMOG/MMORPG" (Massively multiplayer online game/ Massively multiplayer online role-playing game) (Examples include, The Elder Scrolls Online, World of Warcraft, Tera, Guild Wars2, etc.) 

"MOBA" (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) (Examples include, League of Legends, Heroes of the Storm (HOTS), DOTA2)

"MYO" (Make Your Own) in Adopts

"NSFW" (Not Safe For Work)

"NSFL" (Not Safe For Life) like NSFW but worse.

"OC" (original character)

"OS" (open species) in Adopts

"OTA" (Offer to adopt) In Adopts

"OTP" (One True Pairing) In Adopts

"P2U" (Pay to Use)

"PIP"  (Project In Progress)

"R" (request)

"RPG or RP" (Role Playing)(Game)

"SB" (Starting bid) in Adopts

"SFW" (Safe for Work)

"TBN" (To Be Named)

"WIP" (Work In Progress)

"YCH" (your character here)
